NBA auctions LeBron's 'Cramp Game' jersey for over $50K

$50,200.

That's how much one probably-very-wealthy person deemed LeBron James' game-worn jersey from Game 1 of the NBA Finals to be worth on an NBA.com auction last week.

Yes, that's "the cramp game," during which James missed the final few minutes of play due to cramping, allowing the San Antonio Spurs to roll a 1-0 series lead against the Miami Heat. It also ensures that jersey was extra-sweaty, which apparently increases the price tag.

Also selling for a substantial price recently:

  • James' "nickname" jersey with "King James" on the back, game-worn from Jan. 10, sold for $41,050 on June 19.
  • Tim Duncan's game-worn Game 1 jersey sold for $20,770 on July 1.
  • Game-won NBA Finals jerseys from Manu Ginobili, Kawhi leonard and Tony Parker sold for $15,300, $14,020 and $11,020, respectively.
  • In the highest non-Heat, non-Spurs bid, Paul Pierce's "nickname" jersey sold for $2,820.
  • A pair of shoes autographed by Adam Silver sold for $1,946 on June 26. Seriously. Imagine if they were his press conference-worn shoes from the Donald Sterling ban!
