While the NBA got the sad news on Sunday that it will be without one Bogdanovic for the 2014-15 season, that may be made up for by the presence of another, somewhat unexpected Bogdanovic.

Croatian wing prospect Bojan Bogdanovic could be on his way stateside to join the Brooklyn Nets, based on some pretty strong hints on Monday from Nets general manager Billy King.

So, yeah, Bojan coming. The deal is expected to be for three years, the third year being a player option, at the tax-payer mid-level exception, which begins at $3.18 million and

This is a minor surprise as Bogdanovic was said to be close to signing a new deal with Fenerbache Ulker back in May. It seems the lure of the NBA may have drawn the 2011 second-round pick, and the Nets could certainly use him given their limited flexibility to add pieces around the salary cap.

The Nets also tried to bring Bogdanovic over last offseason, however, only for buyout issues to arise, so Nets fans shouldn't get too excited until they see him in Nets' gear.

You can read more about Bogdanovic - largely considered one of the best international prospects in basketball - in the story below.
