Report: Warriors, Wolves have agreed on Love-Martin for Lee-Thompson, fighting over picks
Well, so much for the Kevin Love-to-Golden State trade talks being dead in the water.
On a radio spot on Tuesday, ESPN's draft guru Chad Ford remained adamant that Love is likely on his way to the Warriors, with a package centered around Klay Thompson heading back to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Ford now seems to be alone in his insistence a deal will get done, as many others had backed off and suggested talks had stalled. Ford, however, suggests the core framework has been established, but peripheral items like draft pick protections and the inclusion of Harrison Barnes still need to be ironed out.
.@chadfordinsider is adamant that a deal happens. Also says they’re fighting over draft protections, HB, etc + Love wants to come to GSW.

The Warriors would probably be well served to negotiate in earnest for Love. While Love has just a year remaining on his deal and Thompson is a very good player, the gaps in talent and replacement options are such that the framework is a no-doubter.
Expect plenty more leaked posturing and speculation ahead of Thursday's draft.
