The Utah Jazz selected Australian point guard Dante Exum with the No. 5 overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft on Thursday night.

Exum becomes the first international prospect selected and the highest drafted Aussie since Andrew Bogut in 2005. He also might be the most intelligent player in the draft, if we're to believe the reports that leaked out from some of his psychological tests with teams.

It's not only his head that got him drafted, though, as Exum has the body of a point guard you'd build from scratch. Long, quick, and athletic, he profiles as the point guard with the highest ceiling in the class, perhaps on both ends of the floor. His shooting needs a bit of work and he hasn't been tested with stiff competition on a consistent basis, but there's a great deal to be excited about here.

Selecting Exum may be a of an awkward fit as the Jazz already have another point guard in Trey Burke on the roster. Drafting point guards in two consecutive draft certainly creates overlap, but with Exum's tremendous size, it wouldn't be a surprise to see the two paired in the backcourt in a two-point guard lineup. Exum has the size and athleticism to cover shooting guards, which compliments the smaller Burke.

Or, if the fit isn't right, they could always trade one or the other. Also, the pun potential in his name is off the charts.
