There's something to be said for stability, and the Denver Nuggets could have that in spades this coming season.

On Monday, the team announced that forward Darrell Arthur has picked up his player option for the 2014-15 season, giving the team 13 players under contract for the upcoming campaign. Arthur will earn $3.46 million in his sixth NBA season.

This past year, his first with the Nuggets, Arthur averaged 5.9 points and 3.1 rebounds in 17.1 minutes, shooting 39.5 percent from the floor. On the bright side, he began to show flashes of a 3-point shot that could make him a valuable reserve big for a squad that promises to have primarily interior frontcourt players.

Arthur opting in means the Nuggets are at the salary cap entering the offseason, leaving them little room to improve the roster without trades.
