Report: Knicks exploring possibility of acquiring late first-round pick for Shumpert

The New York Knicks are in the news again, and incredibly, it has nothing to do with Carmelo Anthony.

Shumpert played in 74 games this past season, averaging 6.7 points per game in 26.5 minutes per game. The former 2011 first-round pick by the Knicks had drawn interest from teams around the NBA trade deadline, with the likes of the Thunder and Clippers reportedly interested.

The Knicks currently don't hold a pick in the 2014 NBA Draft.
