The names involved in the package the Denver Nuggets are putting together in hopes of prying Kevin Love away from the Minnesota Timberwolves have emerged.

Steve Bulpett of the Boston Hearld reported Wednesday afternoon that the Boston Celtics - who were rumoured to have put together the most impressive package - had been outdone by the Denver Nuggets.

Kenneth Faried, 24, averaged 13.7 points and 8.6 rebounds through 80 games in his third NBA season. The power forward has seen his points per game average increase in each season since he was taken 22nd overall in 2011, and is owed $2.3 million next season with a $3.4-million qualifying offer in 2015.

Wilson Chandler, 27, chipped in 13.6 points and 4.7 rebounds in 62 games last season. The small forward shot a career-worst 41.6 percent from the field and 72.4 percent from the free-throw line - the lowest number since his rookie season. Chandler is owed $6.7 million next season with the Nuggets having a $7.1-million team option for the following year.

Bulpett adds that the Nuggets would acquire guard-forward Aaron Affalo from the Orlando Magic and flip him to Minnesota. The 28-year-old averaged a career-high 18.2 points and 3.4 assists in 73 games last season. He is owed $7.5 million next year and holds a player option for $7.7 million in 2015.

Love will earn $15.7 million next season and has said he intends to opt out of the final year of his contract.
