The San Antonio Spurs shook up their starting lineup for Game 5 on Thursday by starting Matt Bonner in place of Tiago Splitter, looking to neutralize the defensive impact of Serge Ibaka.

Well, the Spurs had a terrific first half, outscoring Oklahoma City 65-55 and clearly having no problems on offense. It wasn't because of Bonner, however, who shot 0-of-2 and had no points in eight minutes without a rebound.

As a result, Boris Diaw got the starting nod in the second half, a move that was originally expected to come at the start of the game. Diaw had a fantastic first half, scoring five points with two rebounds, three assists, a steal, a block and a +9 rating in 16 minutes of play.

Diaw is averaging 8.8 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists in the playoffs, shooting 52.8 percent from the field and proving a valuable piece in this pivotal game. He's also just the best.
