Lance Stephenson on joining Heat huddle: 'I wanted to get into their heads, get under their skin'
Lance Stephenson's agitation tactics were on another level during Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals.
Among his numerous attempts to distract the Miami Heat, which included blowing into LeBron James' ear and flopping to the ground like he'd been shot, was a moment in the third quarter where he marched over to Erik Spoelstra and Norris Cole to eavesdrop on their conversation.
When asked why he did it, Stephenson provided the obvious answer.
"I just wanted to hear what he had to say, hear what they were going to do on offense," Stephenson said. "They were trying to run a pick-and-roll and I heard it ... I wanted to get into their heads, get under their skin."
With Game 6 set for Friday night in Miami, it will be entertaining to see what circus acts Stephenson unloads on the Heat in what could - once again - be his final contest of the season.
