Report: Clippers' Collison to opt out of contract

Los Angeles Clippers point guard Darren Collison will reportedly opt out of the second year of his contract to become an unrestricted free agent this summer.
According to a source from CSNNW, the 26-year-old was set to earn $1.9 million in his player option year.
"Darren is definitely opting out," the source said, though the Clippers are still apparently Collison's preferred team.
He appeared in 80 games this season for the second unit, averaging 11.4 points and 3.7 assists in 25.9 minutes.
