Report: Cavaliers to visit Joel Embiid in coming weeks

With the NBA Draft less than one month away, the Cleveland Cavaliers are in the process of deciding who they will select with their first overall pick.

The consensus seems to be that they'll choose one of Jabari Parker, Andrew Wiggins, or Joel Embiid, and it's being reported that the Cavaliers have already arranged a visit with the latter of the three.

According to ESPN, the franchise will visit Embiid in the coming weeks to conduct a physical and interview. The Cameroon native won't meet with another team until the Cavaliers have determined whether or not they'll select him on June 26 as Embiid's representatives want to see where Cleveland stands on the 7-foot center before offering potential visits to other franchises.

Also mentioned in the report is that Wasserman Group, the agency that represents Embiid as well as Parker, is planning visits based on the pair going first and second in the draft over Wiggins.

Those who have seen Embiid perform at recent workouts have nothing but praise for the Kansas product.

A specific date, time, and location for the visit has not been agreed upon yet.
