Portland Trail Blazers guard Mo Williams will opt out of the second year of his contract to become a free agent in July. Williams told reporters what he is looking for at his exit interview Friday.
"This is my last time to get a three-year deal," he said, via Joe Freeman of The Oregonian. "I've got three good years left in me."
Williams, 31, signed his two-year, $5.6 million deal last summer, and told CSNNW in January that he would opt out to hopefully resign with the Blazers.
The point guard averaged 9.7 points and 4.3 assists in 24.8 minutes this season.
