Report: Doc Rivers yelled at Thunder owner after controversial Game 5 loss

Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers definitely has a fine forthcoming from the NBA for his rabid and vicious tirade against the officials from Tuesday's Game 5 loss to Oklahoma City, but he may have made another enemy in the process, too.

According to a report from Yahoo Sports, Rivers also screamed at Thunder owner Clay Bennett after the game, not-so-subtly accusing the Thunder of failing to provide the referees with a good replay of the controversial late out-of-bounds call.

Fresh off a stunning collapse that had pushed his Los Angeles Clippers within a game of season's end, still fuming over a controversial replay call he would later lament as potentially "series-defining," coach Doc Rivers marched out of the locker room late Tuesday with fury in his eyes. He headed toward the interview room only to spot Oklahoma City Thunder owner Clay Bennett walking past in the hallway.

"Wow!" Rivers yelled at Bennett. "Why can't we get the right replay?"

Bennett, perhaps still stunned by his unlikely change in fortune, didn't say a word in response and just kept walking.

As for the other controversial call, on which Chris Paul was whistled for a foul on a late Russell Westbrook 3-point attempt, the evidence is pretty damning:

So, the complaints will probably remain about the out-of-bounds play, not the entire end-game officiating.
