The Dallas Mavericks had to complete Game 4 without the help of center DeJuan Blair, who was ejected in the fourth quarter after appearing to inadvertently kick Spurs center Tiago Splitter in the head when the two were lying on the floor.
Blair appeared to be reacting to a foul call when he kicked his feet and hit Splitter. He almost immediately raised his hands in an apologetic manner:
Blair left the game with 12 points and 11 rebounds in 16 minutes off the bench.
