Opponents beware: if you're looking to attack the basket against the Thunder in the playoffs, watch out for the weak-side block. Serge Ibaka is looking to swat your shot for charity.

The Congolese power forward is vowing to donate $500 per block recorded in the playoffs towards his charity initiative with UNICEF entitled 'Get Boys and Girls Into the Game'. The project seeks to provide care, shelter, food and education for homeless children in Congo.

On the season Ibaka averages 2.7 blocks per game and leads the NBA in total shots blocked at 209.

Ibaka spent much of his childhood in the war-torn capital city of the Republic of Congo. When he was 7, Ibaka's mother passed away due to illness. Unfortunately, due to various business, political, and health-related complications, his father was also absent for prolonged stretches, which often left Ibaka and his 17 siblings without parental care.
