Robin Lopez really doesn't think he looks like twin brother Brook
Robin Lopez and Brook Lopez may be identical twins, but the former really doesn't think they look alike.
Asked by Comcast Sportsnet if he wears his hair long (and awesome) to differentiate himself physically from his brother, Robin pulled no punches.
"People are going to be morons. If people can’t tell us apart, they’re going to be morons either way. Letting my hair grow had nothing to do with trying to look different from Brook."
Describing his hair further, Lopez expressed that he doesn't see what the big deal is.
"There’s nothing really extraordinary about it. It’s not like it has super hero powers or anything. There’s no mystique about it. It’s just very pedestrian."
And finally, asked if Brook had ever considered growing his hair out to match, Robin said, "Brook and I don't discuss hairstyles, Chris." (The reporter was Chris Haynes.)
The fact that the Lopez brothers look different enough to tell them apart (yes, even if they had the same hairstyle) is convenient. The fact that they choose not to dress and style the same like a certain pair of twins in the NHL is good, too.
