Hawks heckle Tony Romo

Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo probably expected twitter to turn vile after Sunday's implosion, but who would have thought it would come from the Atlanta Hawks official twitter account?

The tweet came after Romo threw two interceptions in the last three minutes of a 37-36 loss to the Green Bay Packers Sunday, and was sent to the 176,000 followers of the Hawks official feed.

It also included a photo of Al Horford, who threw down an overtime buzzer-beater on Friday against the Washington Wizards.

But whoever was at the helm of the Hawks social media might want to take a look in the mirror - Atlanta is lucky to sit third in a terrible Eastern Conference of the NBA with a 12-12 record.

The team is also coming off a loss to the 7-16 New York Knicks Saturday night.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys share the Hawks .500 record, sitting at 7-7, good enough for second in the NFC East. The Dallas Cowboys official twitter account had not acknowledged the tweet Sunday night.
