Watch: Wall erases Schroder layup with monster chase-down block

John Wall continues to be a human wrecking ball in the playoffs. With his Wizards in danger of letting a 22-point lead slip away in Game 6 against the Hawks, Wall came through with one of his signature defensive highlights in a massive spot.

The Hawks had trimmed the lead all the way down to three, and got out on the break after Bradley Beal slipped and turned the ball over at the other end. Dennis Schroder glided in for a seemingly uncontested layup that would've cut the deficit to one. Wall had other ideas. He somehow caught up to Schroder and swatted him from behind, and Bojan Bogdanovic was there to collect the loose ball.

Then, to complete the game-changing sequence, he finished a contested layup through contact at the other end.

From that point on, Wall completely grabbed hold of the game and didn't let go. He'd go on to score the Wizards' final 13 points, finishing with a playoff career-high 42 in what turned into a comfortable 115-99 win, sending the Hawks packing.

The guy is pretty good.
