Marcus Morris: Hawks' 'whining' led to excessive foul calls early in Game 2
Washington Wizards big man Markieff Morris vowed that the Atlanta Hawks would see more MMA-level physicality Wednesday night following Paul Millsap's comments about their brutish brand of basketball in Game 1.
Officials weren't afraid to blow the whistle during the first half of Game 2, perhaps in an effort to keep the game from getting out of hand should there be any lingering ill will from the series opener.
Marcus Morris - the twin brother of Markieff and Detroit Pistons forward, who was in attendance at the Verizon Center - wasn't a fan of play being stopped as often as it was, chalking up the referee's trigger fingers to Atlanta's "whining" on his Twitter account.
All that whining now it's a foul every 10 seconds

The two sides combined for 29 personal fouls and 34 trips to the free-throw line (13-of-18 for Atlanta, 12-of-16 for Washington) in the first two quarters.
