Stephen Curry ditches social media for playoffs to 'zone in'

There will be no more cute "Lock in #DubNation" tweets before every game from Stephen Curry.

The reigning two-time MVP will ignore all social media throughout the duration of the Golden State Warriors' playoff run.

"When you're really trying to zone in and keep your focus, you don't want to have any unnecessary distractions during this point of the season," Curry told ESPN's Chris Haynes.

"We have goals to accomplish, and you want to make sure you're giving your all."

The move is reminiscent of LeBron James, who announced "ZeroDarkThirty" before each of his last two Finals runs, but Curry insists he's not copying James in his social media blackout.

"I didn't do it because he did it. I'm not reinventing the wheel," Curry said of James.
