Grizzlies' Conley buys 500 tickets for Game 3 to give away to fans

Mike Conley is extremely appreciative of the support basketball fans in Memphis have shown the Grizzlies, and wants to return the favor with a giant gesture.

The $153-million man has purchased 500 tickets for Game 3 of the Grizzlies' opening-round series with the San Antonio Spurs, which will go down on Thursday night at FedExForum.

Conley will apparently be standing in the Grand Lobby at the arena on Wednesday following team practice to personally hand out the tickets on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Spurs currently own a 2-0 lead following their 96-82 victory on Monday. Conley averaged 18.5 points and 7.5 assists on 40.6 percent shooting in the first two games at AT&T Center.

Memphis only ranked 23rd in attendance during the regular season, averaging 16,519 fans per home game.
