Wizards' Oubre chimes in: Markieff is better than Millsap

It didn't take long for a beef to brew between the Washington Wizards and Atlanta Hawks in their No. 4 vs. No. 5 series.

Paul Millsap and Markieff Morris took center stage during and after Game 1 on Sunday, as the two power forwards exchanged physical blows and verbal jabs throughout the afternoon.

Things are bound to escalate in the remaining games to come after Wizards guard Kelly Oubre threw gas on the fire.

"Millsap is an All-Star. But honestly, in my opinion, Keef is better than him," Oubre told Chase Hughes of CSN Mid-Atlantic.

"I tell him that every day. Obviously, people respect Millsap. I respect Millsap to the fullest, but we have one of the best power forwards in the game of basketball right now with this team. He goes out and shows that every day."

Millsap's track record of success is certainly longer than Morris', but Sunday's result certainly didn't reflect that: Morris had 21 points, seven rebounds, and four blocks to Millsap's 19 points and two rebounds, and his team also came away with the 114-107 victory.
