Nuggets' Emmanuel Mudiay: Ruled out Tuesday vs. Mavericks

Mudiay (ankle) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Mavericks, Nick Kosmider of the Denver Post reports.

Analysis:

Mudiay attempted to get loose during pregame warmups, but ultimately felt like the discomfort was too much to play through, so he'll remain sidelined Tuesday. With Jameer Nelson (calf) also out, Jamal Murray should see a hefty workload as the team's starting point guard, while Malik Beasley could also benefit with some extra minutes off the bench in the backcourt. It remains to be seen if Mudiay will be cleared in time for Wednesday's regular-season finale against the Thunder.
