Nuggets' Jameer Nelson: Out Tuesday vs. Pelicans

Nelson (calf) will be sidelined for Tuesday's game against the Pelicans, Chris Dempsey of Altitude Sports reports.

Analysis:

Nelson also missed Sunday's game against the Heat due to a strained right calf that he suffered during Friday's loss to the Hornets. The calf is apparently still causing him discomfort, so he'll sit again Tuesday, affording Jamal Murray another start at point guard. Emmanuel Mudiay, who turned in 17 points, nine assists, four rebounds and one block in 32 minutes off the bench Sunday, will also remain in the rotation as a result of Nelson's absence and should again be in store for significant playing time.
