The last time Lance Stephenson suited up for the Pacers in Indiana was Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals on May 28, 2014.
After signing a reported three-year deal to return to the organization, the 26-year-old wing will once again grace the hardwood in Indiana on Tuesday when the Pacers play host to the Toronto Raptors at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Clearly enthusiastic about his return, Stephenson compared his first game back with the Pacers to the greatest player of all time making another triumphant comeback.
"It's going to probably be like Michael Jordan coming back to play in the NBA or something like that," Stephenson told Michael Grady on Friday.
Stephenson averaged 9.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.1 assists over four seasons with the yellow and black, leaving during the summer of 2014 to ink a three-year, $27-million contract with the Charlotte Hornets.
He's since played for the Los Angeles Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies, New Orleans Pelicans, and Minnesota Timberwolves.
