Nuggets' Will Barton: Will play Friday vs. Hornets

Barton (foot) said he would be able to play in Friday's game against the Hornets, Chris Dempsey of Altitude Sports reports.

Analysis:

Barton popped up on the injury report with a sore left foot and was listed as questionable entering Friday, but it doesn't appear that it's a major concern. The 26-year-old looks like he'll be available to fill his usual role as the team's top wing off the bench, but his playing time has tailed off of late now that Danilo Gallinari is back to full health. For that reason, Barton could be a drop candidate in most season-long leagues as owners look to stock their rosters with players receiving bigger workloads amid the fantasy playoffs.
