Grizzlies' Marc Gasol: Game-time decision Friday vs. Mavericks

Gasol (foot) will be a game-time decision for Friday's game against the Mavericks, Ronald Tillery of the Memphis Commercial Appeal reports. "[Gasol] feels a little better. It'll be a game-time decision, but right now, I just don't see it," coach David Fizdale said.

Analysis:

It doesn't sound like the Grizzlies are very optimistic about Gasol's chances of suiting up, but there's always the possibility of a player recovering quicker than expected, so we'll continue to monitor his status. We should receive additional word after Friday's morning shootaround, although if he's ultimately ruled out, Brandan Wright and Zach Randolph would share duties at center, though it's uncertain which player will pick up the start in Gasol's stead.
