DeMarcus Cousins was feeling jovial ahead of Friday's much-anticipated matchup against the Kings.
The Pelicans big man jokingly stuck to a "play hard and get a win" script when asked about his former team, then eventually opened up about his time in Sacramento.
"I enjoyed my time there. I developed a lot of relationships," Cousins said. "It will be good to see the guys again. I haven't seen them since before the break. A good chance to see those guys and laugh a little bit."
Cousins spent the first six-and-a-half years of his career with the Kings, averaging 21.1 points and 10.8 rebounds while earning 109 techs and 11 ejections in 470 games.
