Nets' Quincy Acy: Out Thursday with sore ankle

Acy will be sidelined for Thursday's tilt against the Pistons due to left ankle soreness, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.

Analysis:

This is the first we've heard of Acy dealing with an ankle injury, which he may have suffered during Tuesday's loss to the 76ers. Though it's being listed as just soreness, it's apparently uncomfortable enough for him to miss Thursday's action. With him absent, Justin Hamilton could be the main beneficiary from a minutes standpoint, though any number of the Nets' available forwards could see extra run.
