Rockets' Ryan Anderson: Ruled out vs. Thunder

Anderson (ankle) won't play Sunday against the Thunder, Calvin Watkins of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

A sprained right ankle will keep Anderson out of action for Sunday's matchup, which means that coach Mike D'Antoni will have to restructure his starting five. D'Antoni said he would start either Eric Gordon or Sam Dekker in place of Anderson, with James Harden likely spending more time guarding power forwards whenever he shares the court with Gordon. Anderson is averaging 11.1 points (on 37% shooting from the field), 3.6 rebounds and 2.6 three-pointers over 26.2 minutes per game in 10 March appearances, so if the injury sidelines him for a few extra games, he may be a drop candidate in mid-sized or shallower leagues during the fantasy playoffs.
