As long as the Golden State Warriors are alive, the path to the NBA championship will go through Oracle Arena. For the third straight year, the Dubs clinched home-court advantage throughout the postseason with a 120-111 win over the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday.

It was Golden State's 65th victory of the season, making them the 20th team in NBA history to win 65 or more. Fourteen squads that accomplished the same feat have gone on to capture the title.

It's the optimum position for the Warriors, who lost the head-to-head tiebreaker this season with their closest competition, the San Antonio Spurs. However, Golden State has won 13 games in a row since falling to the Spurs on March 11.

The Warriors are 26-8 at Oracle in the postseason since 2013, although they're certainly not unbeatable there. Last season's record-breaking 73-9 team lost their last two home games of the NBA Finals as they blew a 3-1 series lead to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
