Bulls' Robin Lopez: Suspended one game

Lopez has been hit with a one-game suspension for his role in Tuesday's altercation with Serge Ibaka, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Lopez will serve the suspension Wednesday against Detroit.

Analysis:

As expected, the NBA suspended both Lopez and Ibaka for one game without pay, while also hitting Raptors assistant coach Jamaal Magloire with a $15,000 fine. With Lopez out of action Wednesday, Cristiano Felicio and Joffrey Lauvergne should soak up most of the minutes at center, with Bobby Portis potentially picking up some increased run if coach Fred Hoiberg opts to go small. Lopez will be eligible to return Friday against Philadelphia.
