Warriors 1st team to win at least 28 road games in 3 straight seasons
Home is where the heart is, but for the Golden State Warriors, going on the road and playing away from Oracle Arena is all the same.
Tuesday's 112-87 victory over the Dallas Mavericks at the American Airlines Center pushed Golden State's winning streak to five games, and improved the team's overall record to 57-14.
It also marked the Warriors' 28th away victory of the 2016-17 campaign, making Golden State the first team to win at least 28 road games in three straight seasons.
| Season | Overall Record | Home | Road |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2014-15 | 67-15 | 39-2 | 28-13 |
| 2015-16 | 73-9 | 39-2 | 34-7 (most road wins in NBA history) |
| 2016-17 | 57-14 | 29-4 | 28-10 |
Golden State's 90 road wins since 2014 are also the most by any team over a three-year span.
The Warriors have three more road games before the end of the regular season to add to their record, beginning with a trip to the Toyota Center on March 28 to take on the Houston Rockets.
