Trail Blazers' Noah Vonleh: Claims double-double Saturday

Vonleh accrued 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-3 FT) and 11 rebounds across 27 minutes in a 113-97 win over the Hawks on Saturday.

Analysis:

With coach Terry Stotts limiting backup center Meyers Leonard to three minutes Saturday, Vonleh, who typically spends most of his time at power forward, saw some extra run at center when starter Jusuf Nurkic was on the court. He was able to parlay the extra minutes into his second double-digit scoring outing in a row and his first double-double of the season. The 21-year-old will probably need to replicate this sort of production on a few more occasions before warranting a pickup in most deeper leagues, but he certainly seems to be trending up.
