Kings' Tyreke Evans: Out with ankle injury

Evans will not play Saturday against the Thunder due to an ankle injury, James Ham of CSN Bay Area reports.

Analysis:

Evans has been battling a nagging ankle issue for several days, and he was limited to only 14 minutes in Wednesday's win over Phoenix. With the Kings having little motivation to win games given their lottery situation, they'll hold Evans out of action Saturday, and he'll be joined in street clothes by Arron Afflalo (personal) and Ben McLemore (personal), leaving Sacramento shorthanded in the backcourt.
