Rockets' Eric Gordon: Scores 12 off bench in loss

Gordon posted 12 points (4-13 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three assists and two rebounds over 32 minutes in Friday's 128-112 loss to the Pelicans.

Analysis:

Gordon returned to the bench upon the return of Ryan Anderson, but still managed to retain about the same amount of usage off the bench as he did with the first unit. Gordon remains effective from beyond the arc, going 3-for-7 from long range on Friday, and he's currently fourth in the NBA in 3-pointers made with 212. Although he may lose a few minutes from the starting five occasionally, Gordon is a consistent presence on the floor and is a viable starter in most formats, especially rotisserie leagues that reward 3-pointers.
