Pelicans' Dante Cunningham: Dealing with illness

Cunningham is battling an illness and is questionable to play Tuesday against the Trail Blazers, Justin Verrier of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

The illness kept Cunningham out of practice Monday, but at this point, it's too early to determine whether or not it'll affect his availability Tuesday. Expect the Pelicans to issue an update on Cunningham following their morning shootaround, but even if active, he'll see limited usage behind frontcourt studs Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins. Cunningham is averaging 7.1 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.0 three-pointer in 25.2 minutes per game over nine appearances since the All-Star break.
