Lillard: Lack of replay on Morris' game-winner 'BS'

Damian Lillard wants a change to the NBA rule book.

The Blazers point guard voiced his frustrations following Saturday's controversial finish, finding it ridiculous that officials couldn't review whether Washington Wizards forward Markieff Morris stepped out of bounds prior to his game-winning jumper.

"It's a time in the season where you need these games," Lillard told Mike Richman of OregonLive.com. "Every little thing counts. That's BS that you can't look at that. Now obviously, we had plenty of opportunity to win the game. We was up 20, but it's the NBA and things happen."

While it likely offered little solace, lead official Rodney Mott admitted that Morris would've been called for a turnover had the play been reviewable.

The loss was certainly a big blow to Portland, who now sits two games out of a playoff position with 18 games remaining.
