Markieff Morris stepped up late for the Washington Wizards once again.
Down a point with time winding down, the power forward received the ball in the left corner and shook off Portland Trail Blazers forward Moe Harkless before pulling up for the game-winning jumper.
There was some controversy about whether Morris stepped out of bounds before making the shot, but officials deemed the play non-reviewable. So, the basket stood and lifted the second-place Wizards to a 125-124 victory - their fifth in a row - at Moda Center on Saturday night.
The Wiz overcame a 21-point hole, which marks the largest halftime deficit a team has rallied back from to win this season.
Morris - who finished with 13 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, two steals, and two blocks - also came up clutch when he iced a recent win over the Golden State Warriors. After that game, he credited his "big nuts" for making a pair of late free throws.
Never change, Keef.
