Nets' Brook Lopez: Scores 18, records five blocks Wednesday

Lopez recorded 18 points (7-18 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, five blocks, three assists and one steal across 29 minutes in Wednesday's 110-105 loss to the Hawks.

Analysis:

Just another day at the office for the Lopez, who has been the Nets' only consistent weapon all season. His five blocks were an added bonus, but his defensive activity was balanced out by an uncharacteristic five turnovers. It's possible that the Nets could give Lopez a little more rest to wind down the season, but without any draft picks to bottom-out for it's just as likely Lopez will continue his consistent production over the final weeks of the year. The veteran center has only missed two games all season.
