Jennings: Wizards 'a team that actually plays together'
He's only played a single game with the Washington Wizards, but Brandon Jennings already likes what he sees from his new team.
While he struggled to make an impact in his Wizards debut, Jennings already notices a big difference in chemistry between Washington and his old club, the New York Knicks.
"I'm in the same position I was in New York, but just in a better system for me personally and with a team that actually plays together," Jennings told CSN's Chase Hughes.
Jennings was waived by New York earlier this week after reportedly telling management he'd prefer to play for a playoff team. The 27-year-old wasn't afraid to voice his opinion during his brief stint in the Big Apple, calling out both his teammates and head coach on separate occasions this season.
Jennings is averaging 8.4 points, 4.9 assists, 2.6 rebounds, and 0.9 steals in 59 games this season.
