Sharpshooter Kyle Korver thoroughly enjoyed the five seasons he spent competing for the Atlanta Hawks, but admitted to being thrilled by landing with a legitimate contender in the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers.
Friday marked the first time Korver returned to Atlanta to face his former team since the trade, and he earned a warm reception from the organization and the Hawks faithful at Philips Arena.
During a break in play, a video tribute aired that highlighted Korver's tenure in a Hawks uniform. The 35-year-old veteran acknowledged the crowd while receiving a standing ovation.
