Celtics' Al Horford: Hits double-double in home win

Horford posted nine points (3-6 FG.1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, 10 assists and one block across 32 minutes in Wednesday's 103-99 win over the Cavaliers.

Analysis:

Horford almost hit a triple-double, missing the mark by one point. Coach Brad Stevens has been employing Amir Johnson, Kelly Olynyk and Jonas Jerebko alongside Horford in the frontcourt with great success. The improved play of Olynyk and Jerebko has taken considerable pressure off Horford inside, but it has affected Horford's production in the short-term, as he is averaging only 6.3 points and 5.5 rebounds over the last four games. The Celtics big man is difficult to bench, but his decreased production over the past month is of some concern, as he hasn't been quite the same since missing two games in late January due to injury. He'll look to make an impact against the Lakers on Friday, who rank a pitiful 29th in defense against centers this season.
