Wizards' Brandon Jennings: Will sign with Washington

Jennings will sign with the Wizards once he clears waivers at 5:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.

Analysis:

As expected, the Wizards will bring Jennings aboard to bolster their thin bench unit, with the 27-year-old expected to settle in as the top backup to starting point guard John Wall. Jennings' arrival figures to result in Trey Burke dropping out of the rotation, but there likely won't be more than 10-to-15 minutes available for Jennings in most games with backcourt starters Wall and Bradley Beal both often taking on hefty workloads. Jennings won't be active for the Wednesday's game against the Raptors, though he could make his team debut in the rematch with Toronto on Friday.
