Heat's James Johnson: Scores 15 off bench Saturday

Johnson scored 15 points (6-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-3 FT) while adding eight assists, seven rebounds, two steals and two blocks in 29 minutes off the bench during Saturday's 113-95 win over the Pacers.

Analysis:

After scoring just eight total points in the two games sandwiched around the All-Star break, Johnson returned to the form he's been showing for most of the last two months. The veteran wing is averaging career highs in points, boards, assists and threes, with more than two combined steals and blocks per game, and if the Heat complete their late surge into the postseason picture in the Eastern Conference, Johnson could merit strong consideration for the Sixth Man of the Year award.
