Magic's C.J. Watson: Ruled out Saturday vs. Hawks

Watson (Achilles) will not play in Saturday's game against the Hawks.

Analysis:

Watson has been nursing a sore Achilles since the final game before the All Star break, and will now miss at least two games as a result. It is unclear how long the injury will linger on, so he should continue being considered day-to-day going forward. Elfrid Payton figures to draw another start in the veteran's absence, and pick up extra minutes along with D.J. Augustin. Watson's next opportunity to return will be Wednesday versus the Knicks.
