A shove in the back by Toronto Raptors forward DeMarre Carroll to Boston Celtics All-Star point guard Isaiah Thomas opened the floodgates on Friday night at the Air Canada Centre.
Thomas was sent flying down the court following what was later deemed by officials to be a flagrant-1 foul by Carroll late in the second quarter.
Taking exception to the excessive contact, the 5-foot-9 floor general ran over to Carroll to give the Junkyard Dog 2.0 - who was getting into his own war of words with Jae Crowder - a piece of his mind.
On top of the flagrant-1 assessed to Carroll, both Thomas and Crowder received technical fouls for their involvement.
