Lakers' Tyler Ennis: Dealt to the Lakers

Ennis was traded to the Lakers on Thursday in exchange for Marcelo Huertas, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.

Analysis:

Ennis wasn't a rotation player for the Rockets with a season average of only 6.3 minutes per game, but his path to playing time with the Lakers is only marginally easier. D'Angelo Russell and Jordan Clarkson are the top two options at point guard, so Ennis will likely be relegated to battling veteran Jose Calderon for third-string duties. Ennis is set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer, so the Lakers don't have much incentive to hand him significant minutes at the expense of their other young point guards.
