Report: Pacers interested in Afflalo, Davis, Crabbe
The Indiana Pacers are reportedly busy scouring the market in hopes of grabbing an upgrade to appease star player Paul George.
That search has led them to check in on the availability of Sacramento Kings shooting guard Arron Afflalo, along with Ed Davis and Allen Crabbe from the Portland Trail Blazers, a source told Sam Amick of USA Today.
Earlier reports suggest the Pacers are dangling a first-round pick in hopes of bolstering their rotation. With a third of the season left, Indiana sits comfortably in sixth place.
Afflalo and Crabbe would give the Pacers a much-needed boost of shooting from the wing. Indiana ranks 25th in 3-pointers made despite a huge push to transition toward small ball this summer.
Davis would bring a measure of toughness on the interior. The 27-year-old is locked into a cheap contract, although he is struggling badly this season.
