Kings broadcaster sings praises of Cousins trade: 'That cloud is now gone'
Count Sacramento Kings broadcaster Grant Napear as one of the few people on Earth Sunday to support the trade of franchise center DeMarcus Cousins. Napear, the team's TV announcer since 1988, took to Twitter shortly after reports of Cousins' trade to the New Orleans Pelicans and couldn't contain his glee.
Trading DMC was an absolute no brainer! There has been a dark cloud over this franchise for years! That cloud is now gone!

The Kings were never going to win with Cousins. NEVER! This was a no brainer! I wish him well! I really do but it was time!

Strong words. Napear then suggested that the immediate acquisition of Tyreke Evans and Buddy Hield for Cousins make the Kings a better team.
The Sacramento Kings just became a team again! Its time to move into the future! It's time to start winning! This gives them the best chance

He also inferred that "most" of Cousins' teammates disliked playing with the three-time All-Star.
And here's maybe the most important thing. Most of Cousin's teammates the past 7 years hated playing with him! That is a fact!

We are going to talk about the Sacramento Kings not the Sacramento Cousins! https://t.co/krZywS91Hz

In other news, the Kings are probably about to miss the postseason for the 11th straight year.
